IN NORTHERN INDIA
Sta at Zenises are fully supportive of the aims of the Zenises Foundation. They’ve organised events, undertaken fund-raising activities and spoken to
many of the young people whose lives have been positively impacted. But much of what the Foundation aims to achieve takes place thousands of miles from Europe.
So it was a rare honour for members of the Zenises team to travel to Northern India to meet the hundreds of young children who are supported every day in their schooling and developing lives. A special presentation was organised in Amritsar so that children (along with their parents and guardians) could receive gi s and support as well as hear some inspirational stories from some of the older participants who are now at university or taking their rst steps in exciting careers.
Zensies CEO, Harjeev Kandhari commented: “I am so pleased that my colleagues were able to join us in India
to see rst-hand what transformations in young lives we are achieving. Each step out of poverty and into education can only bene t the greater good and create better citizens for the future. We hope that many of these kids can make the return visit
to Europe, to visit us and continue their education in the wider world”.
